Japan trade representative office was opened in Qingdao recently. Vice secretary of provincial commission, governor of Shandong province Han Yuqun and vice-governor sent congratulatory letters. Vice secretary of city commission, mayor Xiageng and president of Japan trade organization attended the opening ceremony.

　　Mr. Xia said in his address that with the growing trade activities between Japan and Qingdao, Japan has become the top listed exporting area and an important investment resource country. The opening of trade representative office will be able to help more Japan enterprises invest in Qingdao, help more Qingdao enterprises know about Japan, help to expand the trade between the two area to realize win-win. He hopes the representative office will be fully functional as a bridge to improve the trade cooperation between Qingdao and Japan.
